The BWI strongly condemns the recent violation on democracy in Honduras. On the 28th of June, soldiers stormed the presidential palace in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, forcing the President Manuel Zelaya into exile in Costa Rica. The BWI calls for the immediate return of the President and the return of democracy in the country.
