Protecting the Amazon protects us all!

 

BWI President Per-Olof Sjöö stated on the occasion of this year's Amazon Rainforest Day that the call to #ProtectTheAmazon is a call to protect indigenous people and their communities, workers' health and safety, and our environment from the climate crisis and other harmful human and industrial activities that benefit only an inequitable and unsustainable economic development model.
