I am the Chair of the Central Youth Committee Chair in our union and I convey my greetings to all sisters and brothers on the International Women’s Day.
I am a painter by profession and now I devote full-time to union work – reaching out to the young workers and women in particular who often share double burden and additional challenges vis-à-vis men. We conduct regular awareness, skills and educational trainings to enhance the capacities to empower them to stand up for their rights and other women, not only in the workplace but in the social and political sphere also.
