BWI Warns Tokyo 2020 of Increased OHS Violations

 

On 3 October 2019 a BWI delegation headed by Ambet Yuson, General Secretary of BWI, submitted another report that detailed concrete evident on recurring violations and poor working conditions and warned the remaining months were critical to the --- Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (TOCOG), Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) and the Japan Sports Council (JSC) ---responsible for the construction of the venues for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.Read more...

The board of directors is composited of 2 members for each sub-chamber and board members are elected for a four-year term. Normally every two years, half of the board members are elected.
