The BWI introduces a series of regional newsletters about BWI affiliates in action. The first edition focuses on the work of the BWI affiliates in Pan-Europe. The unions in took to the streets and worksites to commemorate International Workers’ Memorial Day, International Women’s Day, and May Day.
They also organized workers in the ground using health and safety as in Montenegro and promoted gender equality and end sexual harassment in Serbia. The region was also at the center of one BWI’s key global campaigns – the Campaign for Decent Work at the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia.
