For two years, the KFCITU has organized such an exhibit but this is the first time it has been held in the National Assembly with the support of both National Assembly and the National Assembly Children and Women's Human Rights Policy Forum.
In addition, the exhibit also included photos of women in construction in Macedonia, United States, Sweden, Cambodia, India, and Zimbabwe. These photos were contributed by BWI.
“It was important for us to also highlight women working in construction in other countries. BWI ‘s contribution of photos of women working as Ironworkers, Painters, Engineers, Bricklayers, and Carpenters from was an excellent way for us to do this,” said Kim.
The union is committed to continue with both the photo context exhibit in an annual basis.
