The 21st edition of the Green Building Congress, hosted by the India Green Building Council, took place in Chennai, Tamil Nadu State, from 23 to 25 November 2023. This 30 November, world leaders will set foot in Dubai for the United Nations Global Climate Conference (COP28). In the wake of its “Heat Up Workers Rights, Not the Planet!” campaign, the Building and Wood Workers’ International (BWI) will highlight the pressing need to protect workers’ health and safety in the global climate emergency.
