Trade union solidarity support to Palestine

Palestine. Two children survived. Their parents did not.

On 15 March 2026, Ali Bani Odeh, a Palestinian construction worker, was shot and killed by Israeli forces while returning home from work, together with his wife Waad and their two young children, Mohammad and Othman, a child with disabilities. Their car was directly targeted. There was no threat. No military justification.

Khaled (12) and Mustapha (8), two other children, survived.

Injured. Now without parents.

This is not an isolated tragedy. It reflects the conditions under which Palestinian workers in the West Bank live and work: exposure to violence, lack of protection, and the absence of accountability. Workers who build, who sustain economies, who cross checkpoints every day to earn a living, are denied the most basic right: the right to return home safely.

Today, the question is simple: whether Khaled and Mustapha will be left alone, or not.

The Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions (PGFTU) has established a concrete and transparent mechanism to ensure housing, education, healthcare, and stability, and to support legal action for accountability.

What you can do:

  • Donate now for Khaled and Mustapha
  • Support long-term care for the two children
  • Contribute to legal efforts to pursue justice

Every contribution to the BWI Solidarity Fund for Palestine for Khaled and Mustapha goes directly to supporting the two children.
