Following Israel's military offensive into the West Bank, including Jenin, on 3 July, the world's global unions, representing hundreds of millions of workers worldwide, called on the United Nations (UN) and the international community to take multilateral actions to de-escalate the violence and achieve just and lasting peace in Palestine and Israel.

The global unions also advocated for the inclusion of workers in the Israel-Palestine conflict as equal stakeholders in ending the bloodshed and respecting basic human rights.
